Commit to a 5-week series designed to reduce burnout and build stress resilience through the power of yoga therapy.

This series will teach evidence-based therapeutic yoga practices that can be applied in your every-day life to help regulate the nervous system and reduce the harmful effects of stress.

To best serve your needs, this series is limited to 6 participants.

Stress management and resilience has always hit close to home for me personally. In times of struggle, I knew that I was strong and resilient because I would persevere; but my feelings of overwhelm were immense. Even “small things” could send me over the edge into staggering feelings of stress and anxiety. Through study of the nervous system, and polyvagal theory, I knew what needed to be done to efficiently recover from stress, but it wasn’t until I experienced these techniques within yoga, somatics, and practice with dr. Shailla Vaidya that I felt the vitality of my nervous system when well rested and healthy. It is my honor to share these stress-recovery, resiliency, and well-being techniques through this series. This series will include:

  • One-on-one intake and outake with goal setting and therapeutic assessment

  • Guided group movement, breath, rest, and meditation practices based in Yogic and Somatic practices

  • Movement and postural practices specific for desk careers

  • Informational lecture and self-study to recognize dysregulation intervention

  • At-home nervous system regulation practices

Every Tuesday, 5:15pm- 6:30pm

Smiley Building, Durango

Begins January 30

(minimum of a 15 minute intake and assessment required before, in-person not required.)

Ends February 27

(minimum of a 15 minute outtake and assessment required after February 27, in-person not required.)

$150 for the series

No prior yoga, somatic, or mindfulness experience necessary.
